My Cinderellas
Have you heard the song "Cinderella" by Steven Curtis Chapman? I can't listen to it without bawling uncontrollably. It's a great song and it reminds me so much of my girls. We just love them to pieces and they are growing and changing entirely too fast for a Mom and Dad's heart to keep up! I've posted the lyrics to the song below and a couple of new pics of Avery and Carly. Carly may fuss at me one day for posting a pic of her with her tutu down. The girl LOVES hats and HATES shirts. Go figure!

She spins and she sways to whatever song plays,
Without a care in the world.
And I'm sitting here wearing the weight of the world on my shoulders.
It's been a long day and there's still work to do,
She's pulling at me saying "Dad I need you!
There's a ball at the castle and I've been invited and I need to practice my dancin'
"Oh please, daddy, please!"

Chorus:
So I dance with Cinderella
While she is here in my arms
'Cause I know something the prince never knew
Oh I dance with Cinderella
I don't want to miss even one song
'Cause all too soon the clock will strike midnight
And she'll be gone.

She says he's a nice guy and I'd be impressed
She wants to know if I approve of the dress
She says, "DAD the prom is just one week away
And I need to practice my dancin'
"Oh please, daddy , please!"

So I dance with Cinderella
While she is here in my arms
'Cause I know something the prince never knew
Oh I dance with Cinderella
I don't want to miss even one song
'Cause all too soon the clock will strike midnight
And she'll be gone

But she came home today with a ring on her hand
Just glowin' and tellin' us all they had planned
She says, "DAD the wedding's still six months away but I need to practice my dancin'
"Oh please, daddy , please!"

So I dance with Cinderella
While she is here in my arms
'Cause I know something the prince never knew
Oh I dance with Cinderella
I don't want to miss even one song
'Cause all too soon the clock will strike midnight
And she'll be gone

Valentine's Day Surprise
This morning we woke up to a huge amount of snow! It was a great surprise because we had about 3 inches of white stuff. It was Valentine's Party Day at Preschool, so we had to rush out in the morning, but the girls managed to find enough left to play in when we got home.
Happy Valentine's Day to all of our family and friends! We hope you've had a wonderful day. On this day of love, I've spent so much time thinking about how much I love my family. A mother's love for her children is unending. I am thankful that God has amazing unending love for each and every one of us. His love never fails.

1900 Park Fare
I think the highlight of our Disney trip was our Cinderella Character dinner at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian Resort. We had been at Disney all day, the girls were tired to say the least, but this was worth waiting for! Avery and Carly dined with the princesses and it was priceless. Anastasia and Drusilla were hilarious! I think we all had the most fun with them.

Meeting Ariel
Avery was so excited to meet Ariel in person. She sat down beside her and started talking away like she had known her forever. "I have your movie," she said. "I love your collection."
Carly pointed and said with wide eyes "Mermaid! Mermaid!"
